I’m a homeschool mom of four with a passion for DIY home renovations, baking, and math. Whether I’m teaching my kids, transforming spaces in our home, or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, I love finding creative and practical ways to bring joy and learning into everyday life.
My Story
When I was a kid, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut. This dream motivated me to work hard in school, striving to achieve the best grades I could. By the time I reached high school I decided to pursue a career in engineering. Determined to follow this path, I chose to attend Utah State University and declared Mechanical Engineering as my major, excited to dive into the world of problem-solving and innovation. Along the way, I served a mission for my church, an experience that helped shape my character and broaden my perspective on life. It was during this time that I met and later married my sweet husband, adding a new and wonderful chapter to my journey. Afterward, I transferred to Sacramento State University, where I finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Although I wasn’t able to pursue my childhood dream of becoming an astronaut, my love for math and science never faded, and I developed a passion for sharing that enthusiasm with others. During high school, I gained valuable experience tutoring classmates, and later, I worked as a tutor for student-athletes at Utah State University. These experiences inspired me to start my own tutoring business, allowing me to help others succeed in subjects I deeply enjoy. Since August 2020, I have officially owned and operated Sara Wadell Math Tutoring, but my journey as a tutor began over a decade ago, in 2010, and continues to be a fulfilling part of my life.

I absolutely love math and am passionate about sharing its wonders with others. My goal is to help as many students as possible discover the beauty in numbers, equations, and problem-solving. Whether through simplifying complex concepts or showing how math connects to the world around us, I strive to inspire a sense of curiosity and confidence in every student I work with.
